Organ and tissue donation is the process of recovering organs and tissues from a deceased person to save or enhance the lives of others. In Florida, this is a regulated medical process that takes place only after death has been officially declared by independent physicians, or their designees, who are not involved in the organ recovery or transplantation process.<\/p>\n
